At Cal Joan Grill, we have always tended our olive trees and produced our own olive oil as part of the everyday life of the estate.

We do not own large olive groves; instead, we carefully look after individual trees of the Menya, Grossal and Arbequina varieties, located along dry-stone walls and at the edges of our vineyards, making the most of every corner the land offers us. It is a crop fully integrated into the viticultural landscape and part of our way of understanding agriculture.

We have always taken our olives to a mill that guarantees full traceability and the separation of our oil, which we traditionally sold in bulk. However, since 2024, we have begun bottling a small-batch, single-varietal Arbequina olive oil in limited quantities.

Certified organic by the CCPAE, this oil stands out for its finesse, balance and aromatic elegance. We have always produced it — and of excellent quality — but over time we have come to appreciate even more the distinctive character of the Arbequina variety.

Without a doubt, it is one of the small treasures of our house, and we are pleased to make it available for you to enjoy.
