Description
Monovarietal high-altitude chardonnay wine from the +500 Zone. An almost 40-year-old vineyard, which was previously worked by uncle Josep Mª, grafted onto American vines and a French clone Chardonnay variety that has always produced small and concentrated grapes, very aromatic and with good acidity. This vineyard is located about 300 meters from Cal Joan Grill and is covered.
Production
The grapes were harvested on the morning of August 25, 2023 with a probable alcohol content of 13% vol and the production has been 1.786 bottles.
Tasting note
Yellow-colored white wine with a greenish hue.
Intense aromas of tropical fruit such as pineapple, yellow summer fruit such as peach and apricot combined with citrus notes of grapefruit and floral touches.
In the mouth it has a very good structure, a very broad and silky mouthfeel, very glyceric with a well-balanced acidity that gives it freshness and makes it have a long fruity and very refreshing finish. A complex wine with a lot of fruit in the mouth.
Pairing
Recommended to pair with rice pans, baked fish, white meats and soft cheeses.
